Use Advanced Physics to Launch a Rocket Up to 350 Ft!

This one-of-a-kind water rocket launcher kit uses pressurized water and air to propel a soda bottle up to 350 feet with gentle recovery! Squeeze the brake lever to release the rocket from a safe distance of 10 ft. and out of the splash zone. The 120 degree tilting ball head allows terrain adjustments and wind compensation. The perfect combination of physics and fun, this outdoor STEM demonstration will exceed your wildest expectations with every launch! NOT a toy. Adult supervision highly recommended. For ages 10+.

FAQ

How do I fill the Launcher with water?

The soda bottle rocket is normally filled with additional water filled 2-liter bottles or jugs or even an insulated beverage dispenser and using the included red silicon collapsible funnel, which also acts as a measuring device for the proper amount of water, which is about 1 cup. Fill the funnel rapidly to the brim and stop pouring and this will yield about 1 cup.

Can I use the launcher in my back yard?

The size of an average backyard is generally not big enough to handle rocket launches higher than 20 PSI without losing the rocket or bothering one’s neighbors. This launcher is best used in a large open field.

Is this similar to the original AQUAPOD?

No. The Aquapod was a toy that shot a soda bottle no more than 100 feet at best and the trajectory could not be adjusted to compensate for wind or terrain. This advanced launcher is a physics powerhouse. It includes a pressure gauge for precision launches, a tilt adjustment for wind and landscape variables, fins for smooth landings and aerodynamics…plus it can travel over 3x as far!

Can I use bottles OTHER than plastic soda bottles?

NO. CAUTION: Serious bodily injury could result from using any other type of bottle. However, the StratoLauncher does supports most 5L, 1L, 1.25L and 2 liter plastic (PET) bottles. Polyethylene terephthalate (aka PET) is a thermoplastic polymer resin of the polyester family that is used in soda pop bottles.
